Photo Series: Youth

These pictures were taken on Thanksgiving, while i was at my grandparents house. My cousins Dessi and Jesse were playing andi thought they looked absolutly adorable. I thought it would be nice to do a photo series on youth. I had the chance to take pictures of youth all around me, i love the pictures and i think they came out great.

When i was doing the dream photos i kept tying to get pictures i thought looked creepy, wheather it was done by a facial expression, or a backgroung. creepy is what instantly came to mind instead of nice and soft and dreamy. I think i accomplished my goal for the pictures i wanted to get.

Lighting: There are two main types of lighting in photography, natural and artificial. Lighting is one of the most important elementss of any picture, and understanding the color, direction, quantity, and quality of the light you use is one of the surest ways to improve your photos.

Entering my world

My favorite artist is Jim Patterson, i love the ocean and being in the water is my passion, his pictures make me feel like im right there along with him.
My favorite singer is Hayley Williams, or her band Paramore, i love how her voice sounds with the music and the words.
In my world, art is everywhere, it's all around me. I especially find art in nature, like the mountains or flowers, or the ocean, also i find art in very simple things; a bird flying or the way an empty street looks.
My favorite quote is "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." by Dr. Seuss. I think it shows a very positive side of life and i think this how we should look at so many things.
The type of photography i like is oceanography. I love the sea life, everything about it; the many colors of fish, the reef and variety. It's so peacful and calm.

If i could make any art i would make either pottery or photography. When i started taking art classes, i did pottery, and i love it, but i've always loved photography. The way it can say so much with such a simple picture. I like the way it can capture moments you could never remember with such detail.
